Welcome to Code From Home. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Code From Home website and any related services (the “Service”) operated by Code From Home Inc. (“Code From Home”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

3. Our Mission and the Nature of Our Service

Code From Home is a technology partner that provides software development, technology consultation, cloud development, IoT system integration, and white-glove solution development under our Human-First Design Principle, for non-profits, public-sector teams, and mission-driven organizations. The information presented on the Service is intended to describe our mission, services, and partnership model. It does not, by itself, constitute a contract for services. Any engagement to deliver services will be governed by a separate written agreement executed between Code From Home and the partner.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
  • Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems

  • Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization

Except where otherwise indicated, you may view, download, and print content from the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only.

The phrase “Crafted for Human” and associated branding are trademarks of Code From Home Inc. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission, except to fairly identify and refer to Code From Home.

Open-Source Components

The Service is built using open-source software. We acknowledge and thank the open-source community whose work makes our mission possible. Such components are governed by their respective open-source licenses.

Your Submissions

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or content (including by uploading a post to our published content storage at our request), you grant Code From Home a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display that content in connection with the Service. You represent and warrant that you have the right to grant this license.

6. Partnership and Service Engagements

Any consulting, software development, cloud engineering, IoT integration, or white-glove solution engagement provided by Code From Home is offered subject to a separate written agreement. These Terms do not create such an engagement, do not obligate Code From Home to accept any particular partner, and do not entitle any party to specific deliverables, timelines, or pricing.

7. Sponsorship and Reduced-Fee Engagements

In support of its mission, Code From Home may offer reduced-fee or pro-bono engagements to selected partners whose work serves the public good. Any such engagement is at the sole discretion of Code From Home and will be governed by a separate written agreement.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Code From Home disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Code From Home does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor that the information presented will be accurate, current, or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Code From Home Inc., its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if Code From Home has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Code From Home Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason — including if we believe you have breached these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Code From Home. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State in which Code From Home Inc. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute about the Service, you agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting us. We will work in good faith to resolve any concern.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
