Design with fiction. Validate with people.

Imaginary Assets

One platform, two honest halves

Imaginary Assets is a community commons of AI-generated, provably fictional assets: personas with full UX-research-grade profiles and products with complete physical, commercial, and sustainability properties. Actually Human is its counterpart โ€” a consent-first panel of real, compensated people. One schema bridges them: _design with fiction, validate with people._

The problem

  • Demos, prototypes, and screenshots still run on lorem ipsum, stock photos, and hand-rolled spreadsheets โ€” flat worlds that fall apart the moment anyone looks closely.
  • Using real people's faces and data carries likeness, release, and privacy risk that most teams can't afford to reason about.
  • And when "synthetic users" are passed off as research, trust collapses โ€” researchers rightly doubt insights that never touched a real human.

Imaginary Assets โ€” the fiction commons

Browse the library first; generate only when it lacks what you need.

  • ๐ŸŽญ Provably fictional. No real or celebrity likenesses, ever โ€” no model release needed, no likeness risk.
  • ๐Ÿงฌ Whole worlds, not just faces. Personas ship with goals, frustrations, accessibility needs, and scenarios; products ship with prices, dimensions, and COโ‚‚ estimates.
  • ๐Ÿ” Remix with lineage. Generate variations of any public asset โ€” every remix records its parent, visibly.
  • ๐Ÿ“œ Licensing that stays honest. Demo licenses are never revoked; exclusivity grandfathers prior rights.

Actually Human โ€” real people, on their terms

When it's time to validate, the same profiles connect you to real panelists who opted in through a consent-first signup.

  • ๐Ÿค Consent before everything. Granular, versioned consents; pause or delete with one click.
  • ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ”ฌ Credibility, earned. Panelists build show-up rates and reviews across studies โ€” and testimonials display only after the panelist approves them.
  • ๐Ÿชž Fictional twins. Panelists can link to their fictional counterparts, so a demo persona can graduate into a real conversation.

Why this product is Crafted for Humanโ„ข

  • Fiction labeled as fiction, humans treated as humans โ€” never the confusion between them that erodes trust.
  • Dignity by design โ€” panelists are people, not inventory: they set their terms, approve their testimonials, and keep the right to leave.
  • Safety as a foundation โ€” everything generated is screened, SFW-only, and clearly fictional.
